We left our house in Oregon to travel to see the Redwoods. Along the way we saw a sign for the Mystery of the Trees. We decided to stop here and ride the gondola ride above the trees. It cost us $14 and was really nice. Afterwards we walked across the street for lunch. We had a really good lunch. Then we traveled further down the road to get a place closer to Lake Tahoe. We stopped at a Best Western but they were sold out as well as all the other hotels in the area because of a music event. So we reserved a hotel 68 miles further down the road in Willits, CA. We stayed at the Best Western in Willits. Note to other motorcycle riders this hotel has an extremely steep driveway. Tomorrow we head to Lake Tahoe.we rode a total of 455 miles today.
