This morning we got up and decided to go walk the beach. We walked up the beach and we saw little conch shells wiggling across the sand, small clams, and trails of sandworms. As we walk down the beach further, Jeff said look there's horses up there as we got closer. I said I don't think their horses. I think they're cows. Sure enough they were cows. Apparently there are feral cows that were there from the result of a hurricane at one point. Never thought I'd take cows on the beach. After we walk the beach, we packed up the motorcycle, took a quick shower and headed out. We drove through Beaufort and then Morehead City. In Morehead City we stopped and found a car wash so we could wash the sea salt off of motorcycle from the ferry the day before. They were having a fishing tournament. We left Morehead City to head down 58 on the coast but actually made a wrong turn and ended up at Fort Macon. We walked up to the beach and then we went into the fort and explored that for a little bit. We got back on the road and headed down route 58 which was actually 58 North which is where we got confused in the first place. We drove all the way down the coast to the Emerald Isle where we stopped for lunch. After lunch we headed to Jacksonville because we are going to meet up with my nephew for dinner this evening. We got to Jacksonville a little early. So we went to a park and hung out for a while. Afterward we met Jake at his home. Then we went to dinner at the Carolina Ale House. After dinner around 6 pm we headed to Southport to my friend Pat's house and was greeted by her daughter Taylor and her husband Josh. Did some laundry and talked before getting a shower and headed to bed.

Just Winging it
We love winging across the country on our Honda Gold Wing. Enjoy the ride.
Our names are Jeff and Judy Keller, we reside in Southern Lancaster County in Pennsylvania. We purchased our 2001 Honda Goldwing GL1800 in January 2014 on Craigslist. We have begun riding almost every day and WE LOVE IT! Since we are loving what we are doing we decided to start this Blog to document our journeys for others to enjoy along with us.
