On June 14th we went on the Burn Ride to benefit Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp. Our daughter Autumn has been attending the camp since she was 8 years old when she burned her leg with bacon grease which resulted in 3rd degree burns and she had to have skin grafting . Then Burn Camp has become a powerful thing in her life and this ride is a great way to give back to the camp. We met at Anne Arundel community college along wit over 1000 other motorcycles. We were police escorted from there across the Bay Bridge to Red Eyes Dock Bar, where we ate a box lunch on the deck. We left Red Eyes and went to Bamboo Bernies, then Reckless Ricks and then to Cancun Cantina enjoying food and drink at each stop. It was a beautiful day, not too hot just right. We left home at 5 am and left Baltimore at 5 pm. What a wonderful day --meeting new people, and riding for a great cause. Everyone should do this ride! Join us next year.
